ARF. Built May 2006, in 11 hours.
Fiberglass fuselage, cowl, wingtips, and wheel pants. Balsa wings and tail.
Span 43 in. Wing area 237 sq.in. Weight 32 oz.
Very close to 1/10 scale. Scale rollout, takeoff and landing from pavement. Fast and smooth. In a tight loop, high wing loading snaps it into a steep spin, so fly it scale-like. Cruise, don't float. |
