Liftworx Seeker. Tip-launch glider (like a discus launch). 107 cm span. 123 g (4.3 oz). Built 5/2004.
Two CR2 camera batteries, FMA M5 rx, two CS 5.4 servos.

Black Sharpie marker on all lower-facing surfaces. Too much yellow Blo-Pen on wing top (needed much 3M77 for covering to stick; washed Blo-Pen off before retaping wing in 2006). White paint on stab top, covered with yellow highlighter. Polyurethane sealer on lower half of fin and rudder.
Servos shoe-goo'd onto blocks instead of using servo tape, for easy alignment.
0.3 mm piano-wire hook CA'd into fin's LE prevents the rudder's control rod from popping free.
Fin epoxied to boom rather than CA'd: thick CA was getting stale and failing.

After 20 hours of flight time, I learned that rain or dew makes yellow highlighter run, and that sunlight quickly fades Blo-Pens.
